SAME. It was perfect. (My big unresolved question is about the "other girls" -- is that a fantastical creation? Like, is there some sort of NYC conclave where scammers learn to wear the right kind of lipstick? etc)

I found it SO compelling. Incredible how much tension Cline can build in what feels objectively like an ordinary, low-stakes situation. (But also, like... why didn't she just get a job? I HAVE QUESTIONS.)
