Between the Silver Bridge/Mothman, Flatwoods Monster, Grafton Monster, Vegetable Man, etc, there was some really weird happening in West Virginia back then.

I have! It seems there was lots of unusual stuff happening in the Point Pleasant area before/after the bridge collapse.

Did the Mothman connection seem like a joke to them and others at the time, or was it taken seriously?
