You are lucky then. I have been having serious issues all day.

Oh no. Thats sad.
Oh come on... that was days ago. And in any case, it wasn't said, and if it was, it wasn't him and if it was, it is all fake news/media conspiracy.
Oh hell, how old am I? And I never thought of doing this. ๐
We can all agree that I'd look fantastic on a ยฃ5 note
Oh, I am so sorry, Zandy. I am thinking about you both at this difficult time.
I read your comment "Considers?" as implying it was not strong enough (I may have been wrong). I was just pointing out they probably can't do anything more at this stage.
Therefore, Starmer has to liaise with every Commonwealth nation to see if they would agree to such a move, introduce and pass legislation and set a common implementation date. At this point in time, I think "considers" is a fairly significant step. 2/2
Just to point out that the UK government cannot implement a change in the line of succession without the agreement of the Commonwealth. 1/2
The word are some of the most horribly sexist ever, I think. The music is different and if you can separate the two out, you can appreciate Burt Bacharach and despise (in this instant) Hal David. Jack Jones I will leave to you to decide. ๐
I am absolutely sick to death of Christmas adverts already and they have only been on for 4 days. They are all, without exception, sickeningly syrupy, long and pointless. This is going to drive me mad over the next 2 months. Roll on Boxing Day.
RIP Prunella Scales.
Sybil was always my favourite character in Fawlty Towers.
"Yes I had a fit when I saw."
Thankfully the council U-turned and rescinded the fine.
Councils often say they have discretion in giving fines for minor offenses and then give them automatically. The discretion only arises when the media gets involved and the ridiculousness becomes public.
How helpful of them to put it in front of a mirror so you can properly see it all. ๐
I thought I would just do it on my PC, but no way was it accepting input from my webcam. Kept saying get closer (until it could only see one eye and it still wasn't close enough). Worked on the phone first time and, yes, I was hoping it would at least take a few seconds to think about it but no.
Now Ihave found someone else for that bog, a certain film critic you commented on ๐ก
Not sure about that, even bogs can fill up you know...
Oh hell, I remember Ventura. Working away in 1993 on a programme guide in the front room of a terraced house in Reading! 5 of us all weekend! And home made chilli con carne ๐
There were two things I wanted to go to today, in opposite directions, so I was agonising over which one to go to. But they both involve a lot of "outside" and maybe a busy bar later and I am just sitting here thinking I can't face either. I used to love the heat but I guess I am getting old!
You were right in an earlier message, good job you are not in the South. 28ยฐ in the shade here right now and going to get hotter they say. I love it (as long as I don't have to do anything strenuous) โ๏ธ๐
And we are proud of our station. I know a number of pubs in Reading not far from the station where you won't have any problems using the facilities (cleavage or not). We are rightly proud of them too.
I thought of another one, that classic musical: A Sixpence ๐
The Seventy-Eight Steps
Fourteen Brides for Fourteen Brothers
I prefer to change at Paddington as it is quicker but yes if engrossed in a good book would probably do the same. Or, of course, change at TCR and go for a beer ๐บ
Yes, I went there a few years back. It was great to have so many twists and turns in that couple of mock streets and it did feel very atmospheric. It helped that there were not too many other visitors at the time I went as well.
The whole museum was interesting as was the area it is located in.
