It will almost certainly result in the introduction of MUCH higher consumption taxes, which are regressive, thus screwing over the people it is supposed to help, and will worsen government services, screwing those same people again.

Colorado did tax cuts galore the last 8 years. It’s been a disaster, with the state now in a $1.5B deficit, with austerity as the main tool on the table to address it. This isn’t smart governance, it’s lazy leadership making governance decisions with poll-based policy. Pennywise, pound-foolish.

That would make Democrats Republican lite and just have people pay no taxes without having any services. You can't have universal health care or any of the things Democrats long talked about it if so many people are paying zero taxes.

You cannot cut our taxes enough to pay the profits of the private companies filling the vacuum left by public services crumbling.
You literally cannot.

Tax cuts do not address cost of living. We are FAR from critically over-taxed as a populace (though SOME of us are further than others)
