Executives at my job are sending company-wide emails and memos multiple times a week which are all but begging employees to use Microsoft Copilot.
This probably isn't indicative of anything at all actually
Buggin' out
I don't think I've experienced a quicker "play game -> have dreams about said game" scenario than this
Okay yeah I get it
Today I am going to try and get into Marathon, which will either end as a catastrophe or as my new hyper-fixation for the next several months.
Makin lil guys
Every time I see something like this, the cover of New Dark Age flashes in my mind like that scene from Akira
I draw more than just Caves of Qud I swear but this game begs to have more fan art and it's been occupying my brain for the better part of a year at this point
A Temple Mecha sketch that I may or may not get around to finishing.
Original idea was to paint out a scene from the battle at Omonporch with this guy in the centre.
A three panel comic depicting a conversation between the artist and another person. In Panel 1, the artist states that they are "going through a gender thing". In the next panel, the other person exclaims "Oh no! Are you okay?". The final panel is the artist staring at the other individual, not knowing what to say because what the fk kind of response is that
Don't say this maybe lmao
the best part about ai is literally nobody is winning
A blue linocut print of a weevil

Wow thank you! That's a huge compliment
Thank you!! They make such a brief appearance, so I was worried about not getting it quite right
Thank you [:
Watercolour and faded ink are painted across a worn papyrus. Draped over an unseen figure are water-soaked robes, a wide-brimmed hoiche, and a tallit embroidered with the annals of Qud. Rainwater collects upon the brim of the figure's hoiche, spilling over into the ground beneath them. Below this figure, text is inscribed in an old tongue: "From thine heres shaken the wet and olde lif Into a small vessel pouren hit To thin sash attachen the vessel Crossen nou thrugh the heigh hate and in-to Brightsheol"
Rainwater Shomer.

"Visibility is not a universal good and representation without safety can become exposure."
This is a fantastic read which opened my eyes to an incredibly important perspective to safe queer spaces and how easily it is for us to take these spaces for granted
Anecdotally, I have been told by friends working in education and youth care that there is a growing gap in literacy skills between lower and higher performing children. Kids either know how to read and write well, or they lack these skills completely (to put it hyperbolically)
It's probably nothing
Jfc I have been working as a professional writer for over 7 years - writing contracts, white papers, research papers, professional documentation, public communications etc., etc. - And not once have I seen text generated by a chat box that is capable of superseding even mediocre human output.
I genuinely cannot fathom the thought process that leads to teaching your kids basic reading skills by providing them with trash generated by the terrible writing machine
Had a conversation with a coworker this morning that essentially went like this.
People like this truly are in the end times, huh
a three panel comic. panel 1 shows a disgruntled older woman berating a patient retail worker because she cannot return an opened pack of underwear she had purchased. Panel 2 shows the woman turning around, addressing me by saying "and they call US the baby boomers" Panel 3 shows myself standing there, trying to process what she could possibly mean by this.
Interesting encounter at the store today
Mamon Souldrinker kneeling over an amaranthine prism. Text describes a dream, which is not all a dream: "The bright sun shall be extinguish'd, and the stars will wander darkling in the eternal space."
Mamon Souldrinker from #CavesofQud
Someone needs to investigate the looks at phone to feels bad about world pipeline what the hell is going on with that
They look just like my little old man
Game mission design just isn't what it used to be
this rules
An anthropomorphized roach wearing high heels gazes at their reflection in the mirror in a dingy dive bathroom. The walls are plastered with stickers and old posters, mostly indecipherable, and trash litters the ground.
