Ezekiel 25:17. The Pulp Fiction one, not the Pete Hegseth speech to the pentagon 😂

I know it has a clear physiological effect but not sure for how long. I bet there’s a psychological toll too where you have to dig deep in tight games and there’s just nothing there.
What did he say? Was it UK Amazon?
I’m with you all the way. You’ll never walk alone? Really?
Out-sprinted, out-jogged, out-played, out-financially doped.
TBF we sprinted half a mile more than Fulham. That counts for a lot. Maybe they covered more distance cos of game state.
He needs to play the whole game like he’s on a yellow card.
Depends how many players each team has coming back from Wednesday games with long travel times - eg South America
I’m not at the ground. Do we only sing when we’re winning? Would be great to see love and unshakeable support for the PSG second leg at Anfield. Whatever the circumstances.
Wouldn’t it be great when Liverpool FC are having a tough time have fallen behind, the fans sing and lift them up. Inspire them. Bring a bit of Istanbul 2005 but in a different context.
Well done, Neil. Much appreciated. I’ve lost respect for a lot of LFC podcasters and writers recently. You still respect the manager and see the context for his struggles. He’s not a fraud who’s stealing a living…
April fucking fool?!!
This is the best thing you’ve produced in years!
Fuck me. We can’t catch a break!
WTF is wrong with Ali? I guess Salah we’ll find out… not sure if was a knock or a muscle twang
Did he say what was bothering Frimpong? Hope it’s not significant
They’re a bunch of wankers with weak wrists
Pretty confident second half! Never seems to care about missing chances.
If you bang it. Not for a trick penalty. Opinions!
You think?! I thought more overconfidence from the spot
Roy Hodgson at Liverpool. Gold medal!
Why look at injury data and ignore known context? You can’t separate the two. There’s planet there to ask questions. I don’t think Dan or I have been overly definitive about what it must mean.
Not to the same degree. Traditional sports science preps with a higher load that is maintained in training. Periodisation doesn’t allow that load to be maintained as freshness is prioritized.
Klopp’s team it happens when they had to do too many minutes a week. The original hamstring injury to Frimpong happened when he had one intense game that week, without a high physical load - due to this methodology. Same result -injury- but very different mechanism.
It COULD lead to more injuries. But it WILL lead to higher physical capacity. We do know a number of things. When players appear undercooked or slow it’s a valid thing to discuss as fans. Where is it best to draw that line?
Well, we know that the periodisation methodology has the players working considerably less in training to keep freshness, but with a reduced capacity. The benefit should be less of a drop off toward the end of a season but the risk is that injuries leave the second choice players undercooked.
Who says it’s overtraining? There’s also the issue of Slot’s methodology working for a steady starting 11 but falling apart when subs have to come in for long term injuries.
Quite possibly that last season they still had the residual fitness levels from Klopp. So drop off not as noticeable.
Maybe he’s not the right man for us in the long-term & perhaps it’s best for all that he goes in the summer. Regardless, he will always have my love & admiration. I just feel sad about how he’s being treated by many.
