So I need some serious help.
Discord is doing this ~fun thing~ where my mic will randomly cut out if I am in a call, three times as frequently if I'm also in a game. This makes playing with my friends damn near impossible. Only exiting the call OR disconnecting the mic fixes it, but if I DC the mic

All in all, if the first test proves its the mic at fault, try and do the cable thingy if you can. If it proves it's discord at fault, then I actually don't know. I also am at a loss if the cable thing doesn't work. Hoping for the best, I don't have much else to offer. Hope this helps, and good luck

Are you able to swap out the cable (while the computer is shut down to get around the DC problem) for another one? It's gotta be a data holding cable, a charger one won't carry audio.

Additionally, while it doesn't fit too well with the info you've given, my first suspicion was the mics cable. Random cutouts can be a faulty cable. Don't know why it would triple when playing a game but I've seen weirder.

While I don't know a solution, you could try trying to narrow down the root of the issue. Namely, is it discords fault? Use an alternative method of mic communication briefly with someone. A google meet or something. If it works, it's Discord, if it doesn't, it's the mic.
