I don't need the ortho to treat my lyme. But they SHOULD know how my lyme affects my joints

Is my injured knee/ankle the lyme congregating there and causing damage?

Or are they injured in a way unrelated to my lyme?

Because it CAN be the former (but is imo probably the latter)

I have been actively fighting for 9.5 years. It's both an active and a chronic infection for me by now (unless you clear lyme IMMEDIATELY after exposure, it'll most likely go chronic)

I need an ortho for knee/ankle injuries. But a doctor who doesn't know lyme can't always see or treat me properly

It's ABSURD that most orthopedic drs don't know lyme

An illness FAMOUS FOR AFFECTING JOINTS

Lyme makes you & your dr think you need a knee replacement, but lyme treatment makes those symptoms vanish entirely. No surgery needed

And most orthos don't know lyme at all?!
