This means that since October 2025, at least nine of these vehicles have been delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to the German embassy, one of these vehicles has already withstood an attack by three Russian drones, with the crew escaping without serious injury thanks to the armour.
According to the German Embassy in Ukraine, a further five MEDIGUARD armoured ambulances, funded by the German government, were recently delivered to the National Guard of Ukraine. The medical equipment and armour originated from Germany, while the final assembly was carried out in #Ukraine.

The German government (with co-funding from the EU) has financed five pickup trucks, two vans and a 32-seat bus for end users in the Zaporizhzhia region. The vehicles will be used to support the work of various local social and energy supply related enterprises.
In addition, the German city of Leipzig announced that it will finance and deliver 37 mobile workshops worth €800,000 for Kyiv over the span of the first half of 2026 to support operational readiness of municipal services.
The German cities Leipzig and Berlin have donated three special minibuses to the Kyiv City Territorial Centre for Social Services, which will use them for the transport of people (especially children) with disabilities.
Here your theory lacks, as the cameras had nothing to do with the quoted instance. Completely unrelated.
Yeah I think once Russians read this article Putin ordered all Russian recon units to be equipped with Paintball guns and drones suddenly drop buckets full of paint instead of grenades. All jokes aside, you completely overreact to this publication.
Paint?!
And how? Do you think they encircle the tank with snipers from different positions and try to take out small cameras on a moving vehicle?! Nothing is going to happen, relax.
What do you think changes now? That Russia abandons using loitering munitions?
🧵 6/6 — Currently, the first 10 Leopard 1A5s are being equipped with these systems, which interestingly only cost about 40,000 hryvnias (€800) per unit.

🧵 5/6 — Thanks to Starlink terminals installed on each tank, the footage from the cameras is uploaded to the battalion's command post, where the officers in charge are now able to more effectively assist the tank commander in carrying out his mission and warn the crew of approaching enemy drones.
🧵 4/6 — The cameras were mounted on the turret, and for reliability, the footage is transmitted to the turret via cables.
🧵 3/6 — Serhiy Prytula's foundation is funding a proposal from the 1st Tank Battalion to retrofit an in-house 360° view into the Leopards. The system itself consists of four cameras and a single 10-inch monitor, through which the commander can see everything happening around him.
🧵 2/6 — Apparently one heavily up-armoured Leopard 1A5 withstood the impact of 52 (!) FPV drones over the course of a full day this February, with all crew members surviving the Russian attack. Another interesting fact was shared about upgrading the Leopard 1A5s.
🧵 1/6 — The 1st Tank Battalion of the 5th Heavy Mechanized Brigade has shared some very interesting details about the Ukrainian Leopard 1 MBTs and some upgrades in an interview with Oboronka.
3/3 — Until now, they have been used by Ukrainian SOF, Air Assault Forces and Marine Brigades. Examples would be the 199th Training Center, the 242nd Training Centre, 6th Special Purpose Regiment, 25th Airborne Brigade and the 79th Air Assault Brigade.
2/3 — This could indicate additional deliveries carried out by Germany since most new military aid pledges and deliveries were declared classified after Merz took office in early 2025, with Germany so far being the only country supplying 500 of these fire arms to #Ukraine.
1/3 — The 118th Territorial Defence Brigade has released new photos from a recent tactical and fire training exercise, including this one. To my knowledge, this marks the first time the use of an HLR 338 precision rifle by a Ukrainian TDF unit has been captured on camera.
Was fährst du denn schönes?
3/3 — As always, you can use the links on the thumbnail to visit my database in the relevant language. There you will find an up-to-date overview of all military support that has been provided or pledged, as well as other interesting overviews related to Germany's assistance to Ukraine.

1/3 — I have published a new update on my website, in which I have updated already registered German military aid and, in particular, added new pledges to #Ukraine.
Military aid (delivered)
— $700 million participation in the PURL initiative
Military aid (pledged)
— 5 PAC-3 missiles
The products (including the LINZA) from Frontline Robotics are used by over 60 units in Ukraine, so I assume they are doing exactly what they advertise, and the users are mostly happy with them. It's important to understand that this is not a new product. It's just a new production line.
