Him: What would be your dream job
Me: Oh that's easy. Sitting on the back of a motorbike on the Tour de France pushing idiots into the ditch
Him: Oh come off it there's no such job

I believe that the price drops by an eye watering sum if we are relegated.
Nex up is The Smithfield. Blackjack Best Bitter is really good.
Left Handed Giant Dark Mild in Fell Nortern Quarter, Manchester.
John's a decent guitarist and singer.
From Accounts.
A shame that John and Ruth aren't in charge of the Royal Oak any more. It was really well run.
A great article. Hawkshead beers are mere shadows of their former glory.
I love Fell, Lakes, and Bowness Bay beers.
One point: you mention Cartmel, but not the excellent Unsworth's Yard brewery. A great place to sup a few pints with a cheese board from the adjacent shop.
Definitely tea in Wirral. He's getting too posh.
Cheshire. The historic counties still exist.
Sad to say, but it's the best in Birkenhead ๐. I've said for some years that the beer quality isn't great. I thought that I was in a minority of 1, so thanks for the post.
I'm reading this while drinking The Union IPA from Thornbridge. I strongly dislike these modern beverages, which are badged as IPAs.
Phipps of Northampton produce an IPA in the traditional style, which is a wonderful beer.
Working at Aintree.
I drove there once. It was shut on a day that it should have been open. Belgium ๐
It keeps longer but loses flavour.
A great bar.
Nice door handle
Pub runs a coach to the ground. Back after the match for 2 pints of Clun Pale Ale, which were really good.
Monty's Brewery Galaeth and Ludlow Blonde.
Hobson's Champion Mild in Prince of Wales, Shrewsbury. A classic pub.
First pint in Prince of Wales, Shrewsbury is Hobson's Champion Mild. A wonderful pub with a great choice of beers and a bowling green.
Yes, know that for some time. In recent years I only went there to meet friends. There are plenty of other bars in Antwerp with a better atmosphere.
I do like that place. Was the handpump in use?
Greggs produce the blandest morning goods. To be avoided.
I holiday in Italy each year. Birra Artiginali is everywhere.
Chris Boardman.
A very enjoyable afternoon yesterday in Heswall. Trapper's Hat in Jug & Bottle (ยฃ5.30 ๐), Beartown Best Bitter in Bow Legged Beagle and Hyde's Original in Harry Beswick.
Drinking in Heswall for me. The 73 bus will convey me from just around the corner to a number of suitable hostelries.
The water seeped under the awnings and covered the floor. I ran through the rain and spent most of the afternoon in De Molen's brewey tap.
I went 8 years ago. My abiding memory is that it poured down with rain all day.
