People also don’t understand that you don’t have to disclose your health issues when you have a service dog.

Not everyone is entitled to get personal information.

Problem is when you have a real service dog everyone suspects that they are a „service dog“, especially when you are not visibly disabled.

My dog was so well trained she even understood different sets of rules in different places.

Cooperatives are not public housing. They are non-profit communities that. buy or construct housing for their members. Each of the members has to bring in capital to acquire shares in the cooperative which in turn is being used for acquisition or construction of additional houses.

Secondly: I am stunned that parking lots occupy so much of potential housing space in cities. Why not put the underground and construct affordable housing above them.

As a foreigner in this country I find it surprising that some of the tested models in Europe are not being adopted in the US. One of them is housing cooperatives, others are philanthropy like the Fugger houses in Germany.

Charging networks can grow fast once demand is up.

We had the same problem, when ICE were introduced. Only when Ford‘s Model-T was available did the gas station network expand.

„Man darf ja seine Meinung nicht mehr äussern“, aber das in allen Medien und auf allen Kanälen.

Dass denen dieses Paradox nicht auffällt, ist schon bemerkenswert….

Her research on colour has been celebrated and put to use by film experts around the world. In 2023 when the Colour Group in Great Britain awarded her the Turner Medal for her colour research, her Turner Lecture focused on Lye’s films. Her award-winning proposal centres on further research into Lye’s films at the Lye Archive at the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery in New Plymouth, as well as other archives in Aotearoa New Zealand.Roger Horrocks ad Wystan Curnow, speaking for the Len Lye Foundation, said:“There was a very strong field of entries for this year’s Webb Award, from Australia, the US, as well as New Zealand. They included university theses on Lye and in-depth research essays on his films, paintings, sculptures, and links with noted artists and writers. We were very impressed by all entries but saw Flueckiger’s work on colour as outstanding. We hope the Webb Award will bring her to New Zealand, where there's strong interest in her insights on film history and Len Lye's work.”A heartfelt thank you to everyone who submitted entries and assisted the Foundation to get the Award word out there.@scan2screen @fluecolor @timeline_filmcolors @govettbrewster @ngataongasv----------------------------------------------------------------------Portrait image supplied by Barbara Flueckiger.Film stills from ‘Colour Flight’ (1938) A “direct” film made without a camera sponsored by Imperial Airways.
