Update: that was the most disappointing reveal of my life because this guy’s theories were COOKING and the reveal was, a low simmer at best.
I’m watching this guy try to predict the plot of the first season of Riverdale (aka who killed Jason Blossom) and he just said (regarding the Coopers saying the Blossoms are evil and probably “sacrificed” Jason) that he doesn’t think any Pagan gods are being worshipped here so that’s hyperbolic.

I think we were significantly better off when relatability wasn’t the end-all, be-all of engaging with media and its characters. “But this isn’t how I experienced this, I can’t relate, so it’s not well-written!” Yeah, almost like people have different experiences or whatever. Novel concept.

Sometimes I want to find community for people recovering from a certain disorder I have, but I’m also scared of walking into a mire and just having my horrible thoughts and behaviors validated and enabled instead. It feels extremely lonely, but the loneliness also feels the safest, sadly.
