Even though he's struggled with his attacking contributions I'd rather see Trossard at LW and have a midfield 3 of Eze, Ødegaard and Rice. Madueke at RW is a tough call, and I know people may think its mad but Jesus can play on the wing, we could try that as an option too.

Arteta could still lift the trophies this season that cement his future as the manager (if he wants it), and the way he's transformed the club has earned him ample patience BUT if the season bleeds out from here, the fact he's only contracted til the end of next season does make his future an issue.
Beautiful thread and ode to your son and your relationship with him, football and Arsenal.
Long thread, apologies.
Some of you who know me know I have a neurodivergent child who used to be a passionate Arsenal supporter. During the pandemic he had some very difficult times, Arsenal became nearly impossible for him to watch and root for, it created too much anxiety and emotional stress.

Wise words, even now.
Blessed memories of Alex Manninger.
A stellar stand in for David Seaman who helped Arsenal win the 1998 double and a lovely person too. 💔
Excusing this performance, given his goals tonight but would love to have him at Arsenal
RELEASE THE NORGAARD
That might be the one. That might be the result we look back on. We all saw the banana skin, we all saw the red flags and still had to watch a performance like that.
Until we prove that we can get over the line, we've got to eat the narratives. It's as simple as that.
Bring your dinner? How about Arsenal bring a decent performance?
That was dreadful from start to finish. Zero redeeming features to that performance.
A chance to exert our title credentials and we play like that 😑
Not just bad in isolation either, it adds to ongoing worries about our form.
Declan Rice is playing three midfield positions right now
Mosquera for the 2nd half
I agree on him having his go to guys...but if it were to happen and we lose Arteta a tthe end of the season who do we bring realistically
They're are a must, it can't be anything less than that imo
Its the last thing we need. Roll on Tuesday, see what happens there and find out more re: fitness of Saka, Timber and Rice. If we have nothing to show for it come the end of the season...sadly big decisions and choices may be made
Its really concerning...these players and management team need to grt it sorted otherwise we will become the narrative all the fucking media are dreaming for!
This teams really testing my fucking resolve this year.
People may call me out for this and fair fucks if they do...I've stopped watching. Its been a monstrosity from start to finish
FFS the last thing we need is another injury 🫠🤦♂️
MLS is a shadow of himself (I know his lack of playing time will be part of this) but he looks so uncertain in his actions and nervous. I hope we got the best version of MLS next season. As for Jesus, non-existent again...we need him to step up as an experienced squad member

I'm sorry for your loss ❤️ 🫂 🌈
I really hope some of these injuries are a ruse re: Calafiori, Gabriel, and Saliba...🫠 As it would be so very Arsenal for pretty much our whole back line to be injured and have a completely misfiring attack during these crucial stages. I hope that they can be fit for the Bournemouth game 🤞🏻
I think it's obvious the absences of Eberechi Eze and Martin Odegaard robbed us of technical quality, but there's not enough of that in this squad as it is.
Still, bar Saliba, and Calafiori when he came on, not a single Arsenal player did themselves or the team justice out there today.
Trossard off, Hincapié off, Havertz off. Martinelli, MLS and Calafiori on
We've got no control in this game whatsoever. We haven't got many options in midfield to change that either. For me its Calafiori and Martinelli are the next subs
