That would be me. My eyes could be tired enough to fall off, but no, nap-taking is not in my skill set. Can't remember the last time I napped.

I didn't know there was something like this. We used to laugh because my uncle could fall asleep anywhere, sitting up, in an instant! He was in the military! Now I know.

A friend's daughter got diagnosed with this a couple of years ago. In Australia. It was such a rollercoaster to see a child suffering not knowing what's wrong. Luckily she got diagnosed when she was 10 or 11. It is such a relief. When you know, you can work with it.

A neighbour passed away suddenly, very tragically, found in the snow this afternoon. The dogs (2) were inside locked for 3-4 days at least. I'm traveling out of country but my housemate told me. We decided we can't let an old dog go to the shelter. I said I'll take her! That is literally all I know.

So happy. Can't get over his smile.

I think I just said yes to adopting a senior-ish dog without seeing her. All I know is she's a Labrador and around 7 or 8 years old.

Reverse cultural shock: the number of expensive fancy cars in Delhi compared to the little rural island in Canada where I live.

December hasn't been an easy month for the past 8 yrs. This week leading to the 21st weighs on me even as my exterior projects a merry disposition (close friends catch on, though). The last week is torture.
