My godmother taught me to knit when I was a child. When my goddaughter was born, I decided to offer to teach her when she was old enough. We’ve had happy knitting times together that brought back happy memories for me, too. 🧶

Here’s a lap blanket I’m working on. The person it’s for said she likes reds and pinks, so I raided my yarn stash and here we are 🧶

A friend had been wanting to start a group for ages, so she asked around and it turned out several people she knew loved knitting or wanted to learn. Tomorrow is our third get-together 😊

Knitting group meets tomorrow, yay! We knit shawls and blankets for people in need of comfort or solace, but also in times of joy and celebration. Can’t wait to see what everyone’s been working on. 🧶

I’ve just binge-watched season 1 and am so glad there are two more seasons left. How did this not come to our attention years ago? Loving it.
