So.... honestly I have no idea! maybe it's just to leave it as a personal perferences thing and don't think about it further lol

But at the same time, I find this weird because I've been enjoying VSRG for a long time and the main challenges are usually reading dense patterns lol

Obviously, there is a difference between simple plain note and various note types each with different timing so it might not be a fair comparison.

This made me try to think why I got hooked on NotITG first time I saw it but not getting the similar hook for rift.

I think it's related to how NotITG introduces readability challenges by creative gimmicks while the hard patterns in rift are hard to read because... they are denser??
