In the US, you can donate items like this to Habitat Restore. It’s like a thrift store for DIY/renovation supplies, used appliances etc.

While fixing a random 503 error, I randomly discovered the pricing and signup options were not showing on mobile... since I migrated the site to Astro some time last year... whoops.

Even had left myself a todo to check all mobile pages. 😬

Friends at Last: Tailwind & CSS…whodathunkit?! Freely compose UI using native CSS variables & syntax, Tailwind design tokens in CSS, and Tailwind utility classes.

Tailwind appears to have had a rewrite and now integrates much better with actual CSS. I'm honestly quite impressed. thathtml.blog/2025/08/tail...

It’s especially annoying given that all this extra regulation still hasn’t stopped SPAM texts.

Expansive overlook of the Mississippi on a gray overcast rainy day. Dark cloud cover in the back, with the river far below. Bright orange wildflowers in the foreground.

An overlook of greenery with the peak of a small bluff in the distance. Further out and far below you can see the Mississippi River. Gray puffy clouds cover a third of the sky.

It’s the best. Here’s some from my weekend.

I have a recurring issue on Posthog (Session Recording) with it caching the filters for one view and silently applying those settings on a different view. Maybe a similar issue? Raised a ticket but they couldn’t reproduce on their end.

It’s so frustrating that there is this illusion that we are all 49%/49% right now. Us versus them, good versus bad, and it’s all because of the BS that is the electoral system. It’s very likely 70% versus 30% and we’re just not seeing representative government. There’s just no common sense right now

Just vibe-coded this Chrome extension with Cursor.

No more typing test cards into forms manually like a dummy!

Really fun experience.

I had to disable it the last couple days while working on some complex timezone logic. Everything it suggested looked plausible but was completely wrong for my use case. You can’t direct it either - it will just keep suggesting the same wrong stuff.

For any repetitive basic tasks it’s great tho.

Turn off the podcasts and music, stop scrolling and put down the phone.

Take a walk, draw a bath, or sit still in a comfy chair.

Good ideas come when you let your mind wander.

Curious on this too. Saw several posts in my feed excited about it, but no real info. The site is like… it’s fast and configurable… but iTerm already hits that for me, so 🤷

Glad I switched away from them a few years ago, this would be an absolute nightmare to deal with EOY

Yikes, that’s awful. I switched from Bench to Xendoo a few years ago after many issues and haven’t regretted it.

Makes total sense. I haven’t worked in an office in around a decade, but it was obvious when I did that the people that preferred to be in the office were good at time-wasting & pretending to work. Those that took advantage of the few work from home opportunities got shit done.

You know that thing that happens in the summer where someone starts mowing their lawn and then, suddenly there are a dozen people outside mowing their lawns?

I love that the same thing happens in the winter in Wisconsin with snow blowers.

Wooden Cutting board on a counter with lightly golden biscuits

First attempt at from scratch simple non-dairy biscuits.

Turned out great and pretty easy/quick to make.

Subbed Melt stick for butter and Daiya cashew milk.
