No. I think it must just be more difficult for our insides to maintain their equilibrium. I’ve been remarkably healthy up until the diabetes struck, so I suppose I’ve been lucky.

Yeah. I think it was at least 3 months last time, getting my gut in a semblance of order again.

I’ll decide when the antibiotics arrive whether I should take them… I’d rather not have my gut messed up again. It will be handy to have a course for emergencies, as I seem to develop cellulitis annually nowadays.

The pain is much reduced this afternoon.

Nurse came around, she looked so young, barely out of school although she must be older to hold a district nurse position.

She found a “lesion” on my big toe, thinks that is where an infection started, but thinks my own immune system is dealing with it. I agreed that it seems so.

Looks like my antibiotics are in Birmingham.
Nurse called and was going to text me an email address to send pictures… unfortunately it looks like that may have hooked up with the antibiotics and they are making a day of it. Long liquid lunch, I’ve been there, won’t expect anything today.

Got that too… seems to be working up a whole orchestra in there.

Most of them look like they are straight out of a Gilbert and Sullivan comic opera. Seems to be expected.

Oh no! No news on the nurse yet. I’m expecting them to call today. A bit of inertia to overcome with the District Nurses, but it works smoothly after that.

Glad I split the Sainsbury’s order, I’m very unsteady this morning. Perhaps both the nurse and the antibiotics will arrive this morning.
