Interesting phrasing here from WWE--given the ticket prices and the fact that it was a two-day event, how is not definitively the highest grossing event in company history? Unless, of course, a lot of tickets were comped/reduced.

It's for people that are embezzling money from their businesses to attend the show and THOSE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO DISLIKED THE SHOW!

WrestleMania is a 6 hour show that costs thousands of dollars to attend. It's for the freakiest of freak WWE fans that dedicate their lives to the Fed. If THOSE people are upset with the show, you know you have major problems.

More than just a story about Andreas Hale, this sends a message to all aspiring reporters/writers to steer clear of critical coverage because it will harm your standing with access to WWE and therefore diminishes the value you bring to your outlet

You know things must be bad when you are afraid to credential someone that is covering the event FOR YOUR BROADCAST PARTNER!

Obviously there would be a lot of limitations to what you could do, but I have no doubt they could make it work and kept relatively safe. Like, Mick can fall into some thumbtacks and wrap himself in barbed wire. It can be done.

Seeing Mick Foley last night--I know people think this is an awful idea but I want him to have a final retirement match in AEW against Moxley. The promos alone leading up to it would be awesome.

What isn't true? May was introduced to most AEW fans through one of the best storylines the company ever did, working with one of the best performers in the company. When someone gets introduced like that (like Wardlow) fans naturally assume the floor is higher for those talents than it usually is.

Mariah is somewhat similar to Wardlow in that she was introduced through a perfectly executed storyline working with a super talented opponent carrying most of the weight, and when removed from that specific storyline and that opponent, isn't nearly as interesting.

I've never really thought about pricing as a reason for this, but it might explain why it feels like WWE's crowds now are filled with plastic influencers looking to film themselves as opposed to like, normal wrestling fans.
