Any time I poke at comics I realize how much I miss doing informed expressions and character acting. These are so good man, very natural poses, fun framing, and awesome color

I hope the next bioweapon is a virus that alters the human palette so that grown adults can stop acting like they are goddamn allergic to vegetables
It is super fun to draw
Some sketches and a full body painting of Victor Gideon from Resident Evil 9

I'm sorry, such a tragedy. The plane changes on these are super satisfying, good forms

(Followed you just to also say that track is bangin)
Also what a cool concept for an art time lapse, it really does shed a different light on the process.
Close-up view of a ant preserved in amber. The ant is reddish-brown in color and its intricate details are visible in the amber. Its legs and body segments are clearly discernible. The amber itself displays a yellowish-orange hue, with scattered, small, dark inclusions throughout. The lighting highlights the ant, creating a contrast against the amber's background.
Usually I don't post things older than the late Palaeolithic period, but #insects embedded in amber never cease to amaze me - the sheer age!
This ant preserved in its finest detail is some 50-million-year old ๐
Found in Gujarat, India.

I have a hard time redesigning old characters, even if I think their design is outright boring, generic etc. I like the ideas in animation of reflecting characters through design but sometimes I also think it is overdone. People don't always wearing their personality and themes in their appearance.
Nan, the long eared kobold is in front, crouched with a blade in hand. Behind is a zombie, distracted by Nan's double. Purple blood is exploding out of the zombie's sliced arm, spraying blood on the graffitied walls. Around all of them is a thick purple mist that is pooling at their feet.
Nan fighting alongside themself on the lower levels. I had a lot of fun with it.

I'm not crying it's raining shut up
An illustration of Freya Crescent from Final Fantasy IX. She is kneeling on the dark cobblestone streets of Burmecia before a puddle of rainwater, reaching out towards her reflection; but reaching back is the image of Sir Fratley. The puddle ripples where their hands connect, causing his reflection to blur and fade away. A single tear runs down her cheek, concealed by the heavy downpour of rain enveloping her.

Wickit on the left is singing and doing a little dance. One the right, he is pulling arrows out of himself. (he is ok)

Text: Lesser Prairie Griffin Image: a smal griffin crouched in long prairie grass makes a defensive posture. In its beak is a small snake, a snack it's caught. It possesses the traits of a small bobcat and that of the prairie chicken, with pronounced spiked crest feathers and large golden wattles that attract mates. Its wings also act as forelegs, which is what sets this particular type of griffin apart from the usual depictions of them.

Also thank you for this
A little of both. I'm not placing the responsibility anywhere I just hope it happens. Admittedly I have a few ideas kicking around I haven't actualized into arts. This is the least I can do. The least!!
But I do hope that one day the internet can love a flabby crusty woman character the same way some these freaks love Victor Gideon
Then I stay out of morbid curiosity as someone who doesn't do much in the way of fanfic, spending an hour looking at thirst trap fanart for characters I don't even see that way, because a few people online took something and SPRINTED with it, I don't have a point here. I'm happy fun is being had
Depending on the site and character right, it's like you just stepped into the Thirst Closet, and when you came in with different intentions it's funny how much that can feel like walking into a weird group chat that is just incidentally hosted on a public website. I feel like a peeper lmao AND THEN
Sometimes when I'm doing fanart I go through everyone else's art for that character, partially out of curiosity for how they translated stuff but also to absorb details I can't see on search results of murky screen shots. Other people will be sweaty about these and make them clear in their art. BUT-
