New panel joining method is live, the new zmotor mount is very much wiggle free too! #3DPrinter #Build #WIP

Simplified panel joint, using the adjustable leg screw as a fastener. #3DPrinter #Build #WIP
Updates on the modular frame, at the lower z-mount! Metal on metal fastening for longevity and repairability through easier disassembly! Axial thrust bearing nest for z-wobble reduction. #3DPrinter #Build #WIP
#3DPrinter #Build #WIP Here is the lower part of our second printer, features an embedded PSU and the electronics drawer.
Considering slide in & out, like in sci-fi

all right! let's accumulate some more technical debt!
Electronics drawer made out of plywood and PET, with a grid for custom electronics placement and distribution.
The grid in question in three parts as an assembly drawing in black and white.
The very much first version of our second 3D printer frame is a go! This is our very rough electronics drawer with a grid inside. Lots of notes taken on this one...

We decided to go with a freeform approach for the electronics box, in order for our kit to be updatable the electronics will be fitted on a grid, with custom mounts, instead of a rigid constrained box.
Orca Slicer FTW
Object2D and element manipulation on the scene!

Here is our solution for the Arduino, Ramps, RepRapDiscount Full Graphic Smart Controller, electronics enclosure! We worked on routing all the wiring, hidden in the shots, and make sure all the components like step-downs and two FR120N (in our case we need one) fit in the smallest possible space. 👍
This concludes the electronics, with the RepRap Full Graphic Smart Controller board done! Now to the case and wiring!
RepRap smart adapter with the JTAGs is in!
5x stepper motor controllers are in! A4988 in this case.
High poly to low poly (87.408 to 11.837 polys)! RAMPS and Arduino, next are stepper controllers and RepRap Discount peripherals, for future cable management and case design. Our version features car fuses.
What a magnificent tree!
Inhouse 3D printer manufacturing and printer farm, inhouse PCB and stepper motor manufacturing with dedicated CAD machines, supported by inhouse circuit design software!
Can a company dream?
We switched to using the Object2D concept for the scene elements!
With small updates to keep printing and all the while designing the next version, our little 3D printer keeps on doing its thing! 😅

Drawing interface, navigation controls, done! #CircuitSimulator
