The first one I was absolutely in love with for a long time. The second one I got halfway through, really enraptured by it, and at some point it made me do like my 800s ten mile trek via horse in the same mission and I stopped halfway through and realized I hadn't been having fun for like 15 hrs.

Unironically yes. The first one feels more like a game, but the second one is literally a cowboy simulator and TBH I don't think it's very fun because of that. Amazing story and world, too much sim, not enough fun.
