Oop, sorry, that looked like a reply to me in my notifs!

Also, wow, some actual, real-human clinch covers! Nice.
Ooooh, wow. Looks like my library has several of her books but not those two, so I am immediately off to put in requests. Thank you!!!
I did not know I was in desperate need of a romance with a train-robber heroine before now, but what do you know?
Oh, thank you for this! I've been meaning to start on her, but I wasn't sure where was best to hop in.
Remembering, with fondness, the closest I've probably come to getting punched as an adult: that time I was tipsy and wearing white, ran into someone in a confederate flag tee, and did a very loud, "OMG! Twinsies!" These men are so small and fragile and awful, Idk how they can stand it.
Maybe top place in sewing bees designing white flags?
Graphic with three drawings. Two are quick black and white sketches of cats, and the other is a more carefully done color drawing of a dog. The text says “Quick ‘n scrungly pet portrait - $25. Less scrungly - $50. DM me to enquire!”
I was bombarded by a series of unexpected expenses over the last couple of weeks, so I’ve decided to try something new and open up commissions! I love to draw quick pet portraits (especially cats, but I’m open to any kind of critter). LMK if you’re interested, and please share!
Happy book birthday!
I have never seen someone else with Scarecrow & Mrs. King, but it's def. on my list! Also:
-Remington Steele
-Ellery Queen
-Republic of Doyle
-Also, I would like to do a sequel/reboot for Love Over Gold, the novel based on the nescafe Gold Blend commercials with Anthony Head.
You can tell I have a work deadline today because of how I'm posting on here. XD
Also, the richness of this coming from someone from Texas whose surname is *Gonzales*. Like, this line of thought does not end well for people like her, I just--
I can not say in public the things that I would like to say about these people.
This year will be the eighth anniversary of the first symptoms of my still-undiagnosed, mystery autoimmune disorder(s) (and the 30-somethingth of dealing with non-mysterious sleeping problems), and sometimes I have dreams of becoming a hermit, just so I can get away from the yoga/diet comments.
I have sensory issues and occasionally have trouble with the texture, so I get it, but I honestly feel sad for people who can't bring themselves to try a good menudo.
tfw the ibuprofen kicks in, omg, morning much better now
Oh my god, I honestly thought this one was fake.
Have they learned nothing from their diminishing returns?
First, they're selling your personal info.
Second, the reason we value the good times we shared with family is because of their ephemeral nature.
Third, you can convince people to look at photos and watch short video montages, but no one's going to sit around listening to 3 hrs of people eating.
If it's workable for your budget/diet needs, one thing that saved me when my parents were near the end was increasing the number of days I let myself get takeout instead of trying to cook. It honestly kept me from reaching the last straw for my mental health multiple times.
Good day, Womble! I've just finished the first Kate Daniels novel, Magic Bites, and am starting Tasha Alexander's And Only to Deceive, the first in a Victorian mystery series. Pretty fun so far!
A contact form reads: Subject: Checking Authenticity Body of message Hi there Beth. I have been contacted by someone who is using the email, [email blacked out], and using you name and one of your novels 'Feast of the Starving Stone: The Chef’s Five' to engage with me as a fellow author - if it is you then great, if it is not, as i suspect, then this is a fake approach. I just wanted to be sure. thanks. [signed name blacked out] You're a real person, right? No, I'm a bot. Please don't include existential questions in a contact form. Yes.
I just found out that an AI scammer is impersonating me in their spam campaign. I am LIVID.
Please, please share this post. Warn people. I’m horrified that someone might be ripped off in my name.
No one is safe from being impersonated like this.
It's ridiculous, but my anxiety literally goes down if I"m somewhere with a nice stack or shelf of books.
I always think cluttered bookshelves are nicer to be around than ones meant to look impressive. There's something about a bookcase that's packed with well-used books anywhere they fit that feels so inviting to pick one up and sneak time for a chapter or two :)
LOLLLLL
Also seriously overestimating the speed at which cities replace destroyed school playground equipment, lol.
Scrolling through the field of unread books on my kindle makes me wonder what on earth past me was thinking, every single time.
I have not been nurturing my overuse of em dashes and semicolons in my creative writing for decades just to stop because the plagiarism machine spits them out.
Just figured out a problem on this day job assignment I'd been trying to get around all week, and suddenly another two days of work just scrunched themselves up into probably 2-3 hours. Which is great, but also, omgggg now that the stress is suddenly gone I'm wiped out.
If you're a person who doesn't have a favorite dinosaur, you could be one of today's lucky 10,000 and behold the archaeopteryx. Look at this glorious weirdo: www.cbc.ca/news/science...
