Ugh it's been a long time! 😂 From what I remember you needed to have your lance lined up just above the middle of the cross on the shield and click the LMB the very instance you heard the "clang" sound. I feel like I reached a stage once where I was quite good at it... and then lost that ability!

I also really don't like the fact that I have no way of verifying how good the translation is - with Spanish and to a lesser extent German I have SOME chance of understanding enough to have a small idea, but that's as far as it goes...

This particular game, I do remember someone on the AGS forums offering to translate it into Russian - but for whatever reason, it never actually happened.

I feel the Captain Disaster games with tons of wordplay and made-up terms would be very difficult to translate.

Oh well... it's nice to know something thinks our games are worth attempting translation at least!

Although I feel that my games in particular may be rather difficult to translate...?
