I bought a black and white Sea Devils trade and it’s like reading a sci-fi novel from before the Space Age. Quirky and quaint, but not really a ‘destination’ title. And I am still puzzled to this day why Kamandi has never been a cartoon, with tons of toys.

For Marvel it’s Daredevil (Spider-Man light, and depressing), Punisher (oh yay, guns), and Deadpool (I prefer my 4th wall intact). For DC it’s any other Robin besides Dick Grayson, though I am fine with the 2 after him allowing his graduation into Nightwing. Damian Wayne is ridiculous.

I gave up monthly comics after giving DC’s New52 a chance (it annoyed me but I tried it for awhile), until they decided to reboot yet again (or whatever they called it that time). And around the same time on the Marvel side, when they stomped on the X-Men to promote the Inhumans “cuz movie rights”.

The easiest way to demonstrate this is to punch someone in the face and then shout “FIGHT OVER!!” with your arms up in the air. How did that work out? 🤔😂🙄

Without trying to be morbid or ghoulish, one of the biggest failures of the US media over the decades is shielding the public from seeing the bodies of our soldiers, and the casualties from pandemics. Shoving the reality in our faces (like every other nation) would have a huge impact on response.
