Our day of strike was powerful & positive. Back at work today for 2 days, & we have asked SMT to meet with us.

We are willing to meaningfully negotiate. If they aren’t willing to do the same we will be back out for the next 2 weeks - knocking out the end of the teaching term & crucial admin work.

I'm grateful to the Blooms and Barnacles Podcast for inviting me on to their Patreon to discuss Flann O'Brien's At Swim-Two-Birds!
We had a great wide-ranging chat about cowboys, Irish mythology, Joycean influence & how O'Brien's aesthetic politics differ from Joyce's

Just signed this open letter that calls on the AHRC to reverse their decision to cut PhD studentships by *a quarter*, a decision that threatens the UK's brilliant research landscape & the accessibility of PhD funding to underrepresented groups. Pls sign & share 👇
