I'm doing a one-day convention at my local library on Saturday and I definitely dont feel prepared lol

Only freaking out a little bit. It definitely motivated me out of my burnout!!

Ended up having some pretty severe storms roll through today so the beans are safe another day lol

I spent the rest of the day at the day job, so not so exciting. The graduation season's gotten me real busy there with people ordering last minute cakes/cupcakes

In the mean time, to step away from crocheting, I've been gardening! I should be able to pick my first green beans tomorrow!! 💕

i know I've been a little quiet, but the recovery from burnout took/is taking a lot longer than I hoped.

I am doing two very local, single day shows in August though, so I'll be making stuff for those and posting the remaining inventory in the shop 💕

I keep staying up way too late (due to anxiety lol) and as a result I've been too tired to even think about crocheting.

I may pick up another craft/hobby for the time being.

I'm open to suggestions and I have a little bit of money to spend for totally new things!

Its taking a little longer than expected to recover from burnout

I haven't been posting a ton so here's one of my cats lol

This year I used a pre-formated planner but next year I'll be using a grid notebook and creating my planner from scratch.

A lot of the space in my current one was wasted, since I don't use the at a glance calender at all, and there were a bunch of features in the margins I didn't need.

Getting to the last few pages of my yearly planner! Working on a new layout that will serve me better for the coming year

Between my day job and crocheting for VC (among other things) I'm suffering a little bit of a burnout. Too much is happening at once, so thank you for your patience on shop updates, restocks, and new items ❤️

Not sure people realise how hard it's been recently for artists to survive, or how deeply appreciated every single order is. If you can't buy something, it makes a huge difference just to share our work. If you can't share our work, a little sacrifice to the Old Gods on our behalf means a lot, too 💜

Officially done with cakes for the weekend. Tomorrow I have an appointment to get my car looked at from, and an appointment with my landlord but hopefully both go smoothly.

Only 13 more cake orders for this weekend! Only two of them are for weddings as well.

Next shopfill should be Novemvee 25th.

I work full time as a cake decorator and unfortunately a lot of orders came in this week and my store is short staffed due to callouts. I'm on my own for about 30 orders including several wedding cakes, so I gotta rest my hands instead of crochet :(

I just saw that the next TFCon is in Chicago and that might be one i won't be able to make unfortunately :( it's a whole year away though so we shall see.

My Etsy and Ko-Fi shops have been double checked to make sure all the inventory is up to date, and they're now both re-open!
