I hate how that app bastardized crowdfunding and mutual aid because there were so many scam links and I realized the real crowdfunds were always just posted to someone’s page but the ones in mentions were vague with certain types of pictures.

It’s also a breath of fresh air to not see people in my mentions right on the clock every day at 8am posting their crowdfund links under my tweets that I was never sure was a scam or not. I’d always rt but at some point I got suspicious of some.
