For years I’ve been begging for a comprehensive look at Carpenter Media and their whole deal and it dropped this morning; tales about an existential threat to local news in my hometown and others like it. From the Alaska resignations to mass layoffs to unrealistic quotas and ghost papers.

I haven't been there in too long. Good reminder!

We will really try any and everything to avoid creating a sustainable budget that supports public schools. Is there enough precedent from Willie and Sophie Kasayulie et al., v. State of Alaska that it doesn't take another 14 year lawsuit to get these schools and students the funding they need?
