Short answer: no. Long answer: while Gen Z is a progressive generation, there is growing support in recent years for these measures from the Alt-right to make publicly acceptable.
What we are seeing is cooperate America complying with the interests of the Alt-right realizing this is the path of least resistance under the threat of retaliation from the Trump Administration. It is a growing trend we will see continue from them for a while.
