I've been obsessed with Feed Us Your Girls by @LydiatheBard — seriously, go listen. It's a hard listen because of the subject, but so important and poignant.

Every time I hear it there are things in me need to come out, so I used water-soluble graphite to make this mess on paper.

Setting up an old zine using sketches and the sentiment that I miss the stories that used to play in my mind at all times. I had to trade them away for mental and emotional stability, but I wonder if they are still there whispering against the white noise or if they have floated away out of reach.

I hate being afraid to leave home. I hate being afraid to speak MY FIRST LANGUAGE outside. I hate all the bots constantly commenting on posts about this.

I’ve been using loose sheets of sketchbook paper binder-clipped to chipboard lately, and while it worked, it felt like time for a functional and aesthetic upgrade.
