i’ve been weaving lil coasters & decided to use chevron pattern for them which i really likeeee 🥰 i tried putting two on the same loom but that ended up making them slightly squashed looking LOL. still big enough for mugs/cups tho so that’s what matters 🧶
in better news tho, i’ve done some more weaving which has actually turned out all right!

on the left: the humble (dinky) beginnings of a crocheted shawl, using variegated yarn in shades of blue and blueish-purple. the cotton/acrylic blend is slightly shiny in the lighting. on the right: the first ~1/4 of a lap blanket, also crochet. the yarn has a gradient which starts out dark blue, then gradually becomes near-white. the yarn is fuzzy and chunky with no shine in the lighting.
🧶 so for WIP wednesday here’s a pic of BOTH my WIPs and they BOTH happen to be blue :D on the left is the beginnings of a shawl (i just started today), and the piece on the right is to be a chunky lap blanket 🥰

a hands-free headset with an earpiece & mic on one side, and on the other side is a rubber piece that rests against the wearer’s head. on the rubber piece there is a purple crocheted “sleeve” that prevents the rubber from getting caught on or stuck in the wearer’s hair.
my headset kept snagging & getting caught in my hair. so i crocheted a solution :3 i’m not saying it’s the most beautiful thing lol, but by golly it works! 🧶
