I've gotten a head start on the day.
Already in backpain, and it isn't even 10am!

I'm really tempted to start turning these city/gazetteer notes for AwE #TTRPG into some sketches of city corners I'm imagining.
... Or I could, you know, make them into intelligable bullet point descriptions instead.
I feel like I just cracked every bone in my lower body with that yawn.
What the fuck.

Fuck you
they were stupid
so unnecessary
and so annoying
Breaking: HHS’s ban on gender-affirming care is struck down. Rarely have I read a ruling this sharply worded.
“This case is one of a long list of examples of how a leader’s wanton disregard for the rule of law causes very real harm to very real people.”

We should be learning from other countries...
women who hate men generally just hate what men have done to them whereas men who hate women mostly just hate what women won’t do for them
the difference is crucial

Healthcare is a right.
You shouldn’t have to earn it.
It shouldn’t be dependent on employment or economic status.
It shouldn’t be something you have to fight for.
It shouldn’t be something that leaves you in debt for life.
Universal healthcare saves lives.
Good luck - hope all goes well enough.
Record profits are unpaid wages and unpaid taxes.
One of the strangest parts of being chronically ill, especially when your health is declining, is realizing how deeply people believe that everything eventually gets fixed. I used to believe something almost naïve about illness: that the sicker a person was, the more answers, support, and resources would surround them. That seriousness would bring clarity. That the gravity of a situation would naturally summon care. But that hasn’t been my lived experience, and it hasn’t been the experience of many of my chronically ill friends either. @panedandconfused
Achievement unlocked - paid estimated taxes for the first time.
It's more freelance than straight up business, but still, feels good to keep on writing professionally.
Just tried a burrito from my usual taco place.
Mmmmmmmm
We should bring back these lost pronouns, partly because they are cool, and partly to annoy the TERFs (bonus point to the article for mentioning Chaucer’s use of the singular ‘they’).

Would folks be interested in a LGBTQIA+ Streamers starter pack?? I figure since I have started streaming it could be good to do!
I would need 7 people interested to start the pack:)
The time has come!!!
I'm playing Chrono Trigger finally. I hope it's been worth the wait.
Come tease me for taking so long.

Hey writer buddies, why should I care about a silly SysAdmin prank book?
In the stretch goals Michael is going to document his publishing process. I mean, I'm gonna giggle at the Windows dissing, but the self-pub advise is the real prize here.
Check out stretch goal $3000 and kick in a bit.
God I hate this genre. These kids who protested Gaza got arrested, expelled, beaten up, doxxed, lives ruined by outside agitators and were utterly betrayed by the administrations that should have protected them at any cost. Shut the fuck up.
I get heavy in this.
New: 150 unionized ProPublica workers are on strike TODAY over AI, layoff protections, wages, and more.
They're asking readers to not visit ProPublica or engage with content on other platforms. It's the first work stoppage of its kind at the newsroom.

*quickly checks to make sure none of these are on my long paused Basilisk Ball supplement's list*
Space travel gives me a little hope. Maybe it shouldn't, maybe we don't deserve it, but, I like it.
It doesn't work without science, cooperation, and trust.
And we can all use a little bit of that.
And the wonder that follows.
I can't believe I'm at the point in my life where I basically have to web search 'hey, did US nuke folks?' after being offline for a few hours.
Congrats to the Artemis II crew and all involved! It has been such a pleasure to watch, am in awe :)
We need more defenestration in tech. Michael is the hero we need.
My only wish is I was still at my old job and I could show this to my division architects, but they were somehow only windows dweebs... and this was why nothing worked.
Seeing this gave me a much needed chortle.
And it's useful too.
Backed.
Making breakfast this morning.
"APRIL FOODS!!!"
