Some late night shenanigans from yesterday XD

I was gonna take more photos today but I got super distracted with computer stuff. But! Here’s a really clear image I got of the first coxa spines found in the erigeronis and vegana species groups. I have no idea what Nomada species this is but it’s from the southwest

I found this cool Nomada in a box of bees from Arizona 👀 I’m not sure what species he is, but he’s not matching to what I thought it was. I’ll have to do some more searching tomorrow

The newest addition to the cork board XD By default this was the best item for sale at the dealer’s hall at Entsoc cuz it was the only cleptoparasitic bee merch available lol

Had a great time in Phoenix for Entsoc this year! It was really fun to visit Saguaro National Park too! But it’s time for me to fly home ✈️ the Nomada await👀

Recently, I’ve been exploring my Okinawan roots and was given these Shisa from my parents. Shisa are said to bring protection and good luck so I thought they were perfect for a first post XD
