For this vest I had an idea to over stitch all the seams.

So I used white thread to throw a messy whip stitch all along the seams and pocket edges.

We’re all almost there now. Nearly time for everyone’s favorite part…

The next step is bleach! I want a really bold splattered look all over the vest. I mix bleach and water 1:1. Then use spray bottles and brushes to drip bleach front and back.

I leave the bleach on for a good 20+ mins then wash the vest again in cold water.

Once we have our nice new jacket the first thing we have to do is ruin it.

I use a variety of tools to distress the denim including sandpaper, a wire brush and a Dremel tool.

This process takes a while but it gives you a vest that looks nice and battle worn.
