My prediction is that some combination of enduring fondness for these stories and hate watching for the sake of generating content means the first season will perform well, but then the audience will rapidly fall off. I think there is basically no chance this series makes it to DEATHLY HALLOWS.

I got selected for jury duty last week; thankfully it was a civil case because I couldn’t have dealt with a criminal trial. (Though, I think voir dire would’ve probably gotten me out of it; I don’t think the lawyers would want my bias re: law enforcement)
