I calculated a soccer-specific chess rating for 4,400 online games between ~100 players' accounts
Top 10:

3. Antonee Robinson
4. Stefan de Vrij
5. Borna Sosa
6. Christian Pulisic
7. Michael Olise
8. Kevin Prince Boateng
9. N'Golo Kante
10. Josip Stanisic
Honestly you completely sold me on Saito and Dobbin! Yeah I'm not too confident on clean sheets this game week, as Vestergaard just concedes...
Been torn between Kone and McBurnie all week, just decided to go with both of them in the end. Windass is one I've been interested in but unsure about his minutes over a double gameweek.

You'd imagine Kabia must be off pens by now, plus he's against Slicker who saved two last weekend!
Totally agree on Barnet being weird, especially at home. Average of 2 goals conceded from around 1xGA, while having slightly higher xGA away and only conceding 0.75 goals. I fear this is the game things might click for them despite Grimsby's strong away numbers.
Undecided between Kabia or Duke-McKenna for my last midfielder pick. Can't bring myself to double up on Stevenage even though the data is very good!
From rank 4400 to 2600 today because of captain Manning.

Should be a fun one, can see it going either way to be honest. Hoping Manning is going to be in a lot of crossing situations.
40 points for me so far with captain Manning still to play!
Garbutt and Manning are probably going to be my two defenders. Both putting up good creative numbers and are on set pieces, Manning is a potential drop for McCrorie however.
Pretty attacking this week, some obvious choices like Patrick, Twine (Colwill hopefully) and Price.
Vipotnik at Swansea is an interesting one against Hull, tiny sample size and his big haul has a caveat that it was against Wednesday but I can see him doing well.
I was pretty much the same, having a rough time predicting clean sheets. Have gone for more attacking defenders this week in the hope I get lucky with their high ceilings.
Toss up between Twine or Torp replacing Colwill for me.
Also leaning towards two strikers this week, lots of potential high scoring fixtures. Heads up on Colwill, BBM is saying he's a doubt for this weekend!
There's still a possibility he doesn't start yet, which would be a shame as you say I could see him getting some interceptions against Wigan.
Wonder if it will be a similar point scoring style to Mitch Pinnock? And how much of a difference there would be in being a LB vs LWB.
Potential #FantasyEFL hidden gem.
Adam Reach has signed for Lincoln City
He is registered as a midfielder in the game but will most likely play as a LB. Assist (from a corner) + 2 interceptions in his first game in the EFL Trophy.

Patrick - 10 points
1 goal
2 key passes
2 shots on target
Finally some decent points
Salford - 3 points
Playing against a team who had scored one goal so far this season? 26 shots vs 5
Chesterfield - 5 points
Knew their opponents Crawley weren't as bad as the table suggested, still expected a win
Dunkley - 3 points
2 goals conceded
9 clearances
Sanders (C) - 8 points
11 clearances
Twine - 3 points
3 key passes
Expected a higher return against a poor Hull city, 4 goals scored no involvements
Cantwell - 3 points
1 interception
1 yellow card
Not the Norwich return I was anticipating
My #FantasyEFL GW5 round up
I thought I was playing it safe this week with some almost guaranteed big hitters, I was wrong!
Palmer - 1 point
2 goals conceded
Oluwo - 4 points
9 clearances
Guaranteed clean sheet against a Cheltenham side who has scored 1 goal prior to this? Nah

If I was Fabrizio Romano I would simply wait until the transfer window closes and then see which footballers are playing for each team, it would be much easier
I have gone from around 1300 to 2500, the first bad week of the season.
Lincoln Vs Mansfield, a game to forget!
The app wouldn't load for me while I was at the game today.
Wish it still wouldn't load after seeing my score ๐ฌ
Decided not to go with him in the end, the potential is massive but the risk is too high. I think this is the type of game where he could get a big return, but I feel like if you take a risk this weekend with such strong likely returns from other defenders it's just best to leave it.
I'm just playing it safe with low risk picks at the minute while the data takes shape. Been building my team around the likelihood of conceding + midfield likelihood of scoring and that's it, whereas last year I was all about the CCB getting clearances and midfield getting interceptions.
