It’s profoundly ignorant to suggest that the Pope should be fighting crime on behalf of the Catholic Church. Anyone who was remotely familiar with Roman Catholicism would know that that’s what Daredevil is for
Somehow we almost missed Fox saying teens ages 15-19 not having babies is a “problem”🤔
A McDonald’s where the sign has been reduced to McDo.
There is no McTry.
Greatest. Correction. Ever.
BREAKING: Delta is suspending its special service desk for members of Congress until TSA is fully funded, per @ajc.com.
Delta says members of Congress will now be treated like all other flying customers.

The head of the biggest federal workers union says ICE is completely unqualified to replace TSA.
"ICE agents are not trained or certified in aviation security. TSA officers spend months learning to detect explosives, weapons, and threats specifically designed to evade detection at checkpoints...
Flight Attendants cannot do our jobs if TSA cannot do theirs. We stand with our union siblings at AFGE and for the protection of all Americans. Pay TSA Now! afacwa.org/tsa_shutdown/
This is an ICE agent at TSA. Post their unmasked faces everywhere.
Spain's Mar Espinar in the Assembly of Madrid calls out Zionist Trump collaborators:
"Trump has plunged the world into the greatest humanitarian and financial crisis ... you have already completed the bad person game. Go lick boots in Mar-a-Lago and stay there once and for all”
When a federal judge (finally) put ICE officers under oath, they admitted that they are given daily detention quotas and rely heavily on a Palantir-supplied AI tool to select targets, without warrants and without enough evidence to obtain one. They simply go into neighborhoods and round people up.
Bernard LaFayette, the advance man who did the risky groundwork for the voter registration campaign in Selma, Alabama, that culminated in the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, has died.
Did a big thread about this on Twitter a few years back, about how the Columbine shooters were steeped in nazi rhetoric, including eugenicist beliefs about killing disabled people, and just how much their neo-nazism wasn't just downplayed but omitted. Text from:

Amazing what happens when you have a functional government that responds effectively to corruption even in the highest office.
Okay, this is quite outstanding from Bedford Council.
Jan 6 hero Harry Dunn aka @libradunn1.bsky.social is running for Congress. Harry told me on the phone last night he was motivated to run after seeing Alex Pretti being gunned down in Minneapolis. Here’s Harry’s inspiring campaign launch video: youtu.be/KzUVfHPUVvw
I am so tired of being angry. I am so tired of worrying about my stepkid and their friends. (I am proud of their friend who took the video where ICE shoved a man in front of a bus. I am proud of all of them. I am worried they will get hurt.) I know I'm not on the front lines. I'm thousands of miles from where my friends and family are on the front lines. Those front lines lay across the streets that populate all of my wife's life stories before age 28. I am tired of how angry she is. I am tired of how much she hurts. I am tired of not being able to fix it. I am not saying I have it worse than anybody. I don't. I am telling you all of this solely so you don't feel alone or hopeless or broken when you're sad and angry and tired of being sad and angry. That's normal, being sad and angry about all of this. That means that your powers of observatior end your heart are still working. Your working heart and powers of observation mean that you can get up tomorrow and do whatever you can, however much you can do. You can be proud of that, even if it doesn't feel like much. Even if it doesn't feel like enough. Remember: you don't have to fill the pitcher alone. You only have to be a pebble. You can be a sad and angry pebble. They fill the pitcher, too.
I have some chemistry background. What sort of info?
GERMAN PRESIDENT STEINMEIER:
“.. the United States has broken with the values that it helped to establish ..
“.. we have now moved beyond the stage where we can lament the lack of respect for international law or the erosion of the international order; we are far beyond that, I believe.”
We’d like to dedicate our final post for the day to the brave law enforcement officials who fought an angry mob on this day, five years ago. May their unwavering dedication to the service of our nation give us the strength we need to carry on in this fight against fascism.
Good night, friends.
Hey asshole, you’re fucking part of Congress
Zohran just went out and fixed the Williamsburg Bridge bike entrance. Just did it. No faffing, no nonsense. Bam. Fixed.
This is very motivating for voters. Just not in the way he thinks it is...
Remember when they used to hide the fact that they were starting a war over oil.
Gov. Jeff Landry: "Many executives have called me and said, 'We're willing to go into Venezuela if the oil companies go in.' Men and women are ready to go down there and to supply our refineries along the Gulf Coast with the crude we need to keep gas prices low."
Reformed January 6th participant (who refused a pardon): “You can't gaslight me. I was there. I saw the officers being pepper sprayed. I watched one of them fall down and hit his head and his back. So don't be telling me it wasn't violent.”
