It’s the difference between inmates who have been tried for their crimes (and found guilty), and those awaiting trial.
Are you liking it so far?
I may not be able to see #Wentworth (now that Netflix no longer streams it), but I will forever love Smug Joan Ferguson.
Smugness level: 🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌
Photo of the cast of August: Osage County at the Belvoir St Theatre.
Text from Belvoir’s Instagram post, noting that today is the final show, and that the play will move to Perth.
Belvoir just posted about the final show of August: Osage County! Next up, it heads to Perth!
I SO so so wish I could have seen this production, but I’m grateful for all the little video clips that have at least given us a tiny taste of it! Yay!

(Not to be haunting your convo, but… SAME!)
I mean, worse than Joan?! I’m there! 😆
AGREED! We love a good villain! 😆
She’s absolutely lovely, isn’t she? I’m always happy to see her in things!
Agreed with the nuance—Joan ended up with some fairly ridiculous storylines, but Pam is SO good at what she does that Joan remained believable!
Probably a controversial opinion, but I loved it from Season 2 onward… maybe try from there?
RIIIIIIIIGHT???
I mean, she’s damaged and kinda evil sometimes, but… I LOVE HER! 🥺😆
Oh my God, I’ve never clicked “follow” so fast! 😆
AMAZING work!!!
I don’t really know the context of all this, but…
… well, you had me at “Wentworth reference!” 😆
(Plus the Franky gif, of course)!
I hear it’s absolutely phenomenal!! 👏👏👏
This makes me ridiculously happy.
We love to see a good cast supporting its own! ❤️

Pamela Rabe stares into the eyes of a lot-up plastic lamp in the shape of a goose. Pamela has her dark hair up and wears a light blue shirt under a darker blue jumpsuit.
A hilarious new #PamPic, posted by @annabelcrabb on Insta, who writes: “Pamela Rabe, pictured here remonstrating gently with a goose lamp. Is there a finer actor in Australia than Rabe? I really don’t think so.”

Pamela Rabe on stage wearing pajama pants, a camisole, and a long white sweater.
Pamela Rabe as Violet reaches toward the chest of a male police officer. She holds a cigarette in her other hand.
Pamela Rabe as Violet wears a long black dress. Someone else kneels in front of her. They are both looking at something on the ground.
Pamela Rabe as Violet smokes a cigarette and blows the smoke downwards. Behind her is another actor wearing a blue shirt.
A few new PamPics from the latest Belvoir teaser (on Insta)!
Soooooooooo wish I could see this play…!!!

Yeah, SSE usually has full weekends, but across two different cities (usually London and Birmingham). Some people go to both, but others choose whichever is easier to get to. But yeah, fewer actors, but more time with each. (That’s my personal preference, but everyone’s obviously different)! 😆☺️
Yeah, I’ve heard. I like ScreenStar’s events better. They’re much smaller and you get more individual time with the stars. (And they’re cheaper).
Part one of a statement acknowledging that Screen Star Events is here to stay & committed to quality, intimate events. It says that SSE is expanding into hosting UK actors as well as Australians.
Part two of a statement acknowledging that Screen Star Events is here to stay, and has no plans to stop hosting events with Australian actors. Their priority is to provide fans with the best, most intimate events possible. Refer to their statements on social media for latest news and updates.

Has everyone seen the Screen Star Events statement (on Facebook)?
I’m popping it here. #ScreenStarEvents are expanding to host both UK & Australian stars! YAY!
Can’t wait for the #NicoleDaSilva & #LibbyTanner event in March, and of course #PamelaRabe in August!
WOOHOO MORE SSE! 🙌🙌🙌
Real talk: I help run WW events in the UK, and Bernie is *so nice!* Seriously such a lovely person!
I mean, I personally love that you two are both like this! 😆
(But then, I will always support the Wentworth love)!
Who are your fave characters?
I second this!!! 😆
It has violence, but it’s really about the characterization. So good!!
A page from the learning resource, focusing on defining the concept of the American Dream. In the middle of the page is the question about the decline of the American Dream in 2024z
A photo of Pamela Rabe in character as Violet, as seen through a dirty window. She holds a cloth to her face, which is partially obscured by the window sill. She wears a long, fuzzy, beige sweater.
I’ve scanned the learning resource for #AugustOsageCounty. The forthrightness of this question is cracking me up:
“In what ways does the American Dream appear to be in even further decline in 2024?”
Whoa. Don’t sugar coat it there, Belvoir St Theatre! 😆
Brutal!
(But true…).🙊😔
#PamelaRabe
Oooh! We love a good learning resource—especially with pics!! 😆🙌
The full-on emotional rollercoaster that Pamela Rabe must take on in this play…
