Fun fact, this image was taken ~3x FARTHER than GOES. For some reference for those of us who constantly stare at earth from geostationary orbit (*caveat here, tried my best to find out the distance this shot was taken from and the range is 80,000 km to 112,000 km)

Me, and all my plants, are very excited for a more 'normal' spring weather pattern over the next two days. Before this event, I have only measured ~2" of precip, so this 1-2" event is very welcome and would put us closer to climatology (4.5")
