I’ve also just finished Ruin by John Gwynne on the old audiobook. Here is my review: bleak.
Great world building, nice characters both good, bad & in between, exciting story etc but my god it’s a stream of relentless misery. I’m just really hoping we get a bit of joy in the last of the series.

Dept Q is the best thing that’s been on Netflix in ages. Watch it and love it so they make more.
