That's a great question.
I've worked a Spotify and what they did was NOT to make a all-year-long thing and instead focus on making it better for next year
So that's my plan, I aim to make it better, strike partnerships and talk to lots of people by the end of 2025 re-launch!
Does that make sense?

Inspiring as always
ZapZipped.com
My toxic trait is doing no marketing.
Then checking my site analytics daily expecting a change.
One week of traffic for zapzipped.com
Even after the launch and new year's timing is still getting quite a good global coverage.

Design + coffee
I like drinking coffee from my Alessi Pulcina espresso maker ☕️
Feels good, looks good, taste good.
Alright people.

Great to see zapzipped.com featured on the front page of a major tech news website!
After a spike in traffic went on to see a lot of users coming from 🇩🇪 Germany and netzwelt.de
There is a gap of time when I find more useful to ignore external advice and execute something other than search for a 1-5% better way of doing it.
But agreed it is not strategically sustainable.

Thanks to indie maker @ericbn09.bsky.social for building this!
Happy with the results for zapzipped.com! 🚀🎁
Ranked as a top 5 product on the last day of the year. Maybe not bad for a hacky attempt by a solo maker.
Excited to see a "storageless" app thrive!

Well. Like 2024 needed any more wrapping.
Here is another one. Made by me.

Another wrapped of 2024. Year in code.
Mondays huh? ⌨️
Do you want data safety and compliance? Just don't store anything!
I've been just working in ideas where I don't have to store data. Either use a third party fully liable or just be stateless and storageless.
#buildinpublic
I've been trying to choose a product analytics tool for tracking from front and back end.
So far:
- @mixpanel.bsky.social 👉🏼 only one good enough.
- Amplitude 👉🏼 not fit for purpose, didn't work.
- GA 👉🏼 Unless there is a way of simplifying data exploration on it, I'm not falling for it again.
I feel that. I gave an iPhone to each of my parents-in-law.
The iPhones were cheap compared to the time dedicated to explaining how to do everything on them. That was the real gift.
LLMs aren't great at accurately counting things from unstructured data.
What's good enough at this while also minimizing data preprocessing?
I was thinking of a directory for a graveyard of directories.
I’ll have a couple of contributions for it 😝 unfortunately
Spotify Wrapped is one of the best product-led marketing feature I’ve seen.
I love the new “AI Wrapped Podcast”. Like most things at Spotify: it’s simple, clever and easy to use.
