Lost interest in the story once I finished 7.0, don't like the new direction for duty difficulty levels, and none of the new content interests me.
I'm just lucky I have a lot of history/nostalgia with WoW going back to 2006 so it feels like I never left.
Welp, I finally cut the tether for good as both of my houses on #ffxiv finally auto-demolished. I officially have NO retainer or inventory space left unless they ever fix the terrible storage system in that game when it comes to housing items.
I am 100% back to being a full-time #warcraft player.
I wish I could play Fable II on PC.
I kept wanting to put Windwaker but couldn't figure out which category as I'd already put other games.
My mind always goes blank filling these things out.
I felt so dumb when I realized I could interrupt the big aoe he does meaning the 5-6 deaths before could have been avoided. I was finally able to beat him as shadow priest with Valeera as heals.
It wasn't worth paying $36 a month just to keep a house active for a game I haven't been enjoying plus I once again get to be my preferred type of elf.
Since I haven't actually played since mid-2025, and #warcraft actually has housing now, I finally gave up on keeping my plots active and turned off my #ffxiv sub at the beginning of the month. It's nice being on WoW full-time again.

I just don't have the mental focus these days for more than one game plus I've gotten so lazy the idea of having to run anything that requires effort makes me not wanna do it. WoW has spoiled me in the sense that dungeons are over within like 5-10 min with a good group (even faster if it's Remix).
I'm also enjoying being able to collect mounts/toys/pets again and they ACTUALLY be accountwide and you actually get rewarded with more rewards for collecting things.
The only reason I still have a FF sub is because I'm paying digital rent for 2 houses and also logging in only to do special/holiday events then disappear again. I also thinkb I've been spoiled the more I see elf models like this on a daily basis. (plus I'm a WoW veteran since 2006...so..history).
I don't know specifically why I'm not feeling #FFXIV anymore...(increased duty difficulty in DT, doesn't feel the same now that Hydaelyn is gone, I did full MSQ on 2 characters, etc) but I feel like I've reverted back to a WoW player entirely after the last several months of being on #warcraft.
Annnd done, 200/200 exterior cost used. The interior is still 100% empty because I've been too busy achievement/decor farming.

I think I've finally reached that weird mid-point where I'm not burned out on any one specific MMO but mad at the fact I don't have time to work on all of them and it sometimes makes me not want to even log in.
It's funny watching people stop and do a double-take as they pass by.
I forgot i even have this toy on WoW and decided to randomly use it while I half-afk to eat lunch.
