Virgin Media can't even log complaints without totally cocking it up.

They tried to charge my mum £91 to change plans even though I requested that they cancel her account.

This was after they'd charged them £44 for 50 Mbps broadband for years even though now you can get 1 Gbps for £33.

Often the OTP inputs allow the whole code to be pasted in, but it's not obvious that it'll work and I suspect lots of people don't even try it.

It's a weird interaction, nowhere else does a single paste fill multiple boxes.

As a heavy password manager user it adds unnecessary friction too.

A tip for anyone who plays Connections, in the US they call Henny Penny 'Chicken Little' for some reason 🤷‍♂️

Microsoft SQL Query Analyzer was the pinnacle. Fast as heck on the most modest hardware, clean design, 0 bloat, no silly wizards or "helpful" features that get in the way of power users. A thing of beauty.

The worst is anything that has the ribbon interface (Office 2007 onwards) 🤮

I think it's fair to say it was still finding its footing in the first series, but it really starts to gel as the characters develop.

Would recommend giving it a go.

I had to leave Co-op business bank because their website didn't work with Firefox.

I was repeatedly told by their support staff that "Firefox is supported but Chrome is more supported" 😮‍💨

My home town bank too, what a pity.

The same garage, now with neat, deep shelving down the left hand side. The shelves are full of tidily arranged tools and storage boxes. The floor is clear and the rugs are visible.

For the most part no, but there are a few exceptions.

Watching Uncle Roger has definitely upped my egg fried rice game, and Vito Iacopelli basically taught me everything I know about pizza dough, which I'm alright at.
