In the past two years, with surprisingly little notice, renewable energy has suddenly become the obvious, mainstream, cost-efficient choice around the world.
Unpopular opinion but I really liked this season of The Bear.

Rented a minivan for work (youth pastoring) and I have to say, these vehicles have come a long way since my own youth.
I love Sambas and I’ve also been a big fan of the Spezial handball shoe lately mostly for the color options. Can’t go wrong with either, imo!

Highlight of 2025 and possibly my life…doing the whole Beethoven Project!
I had the best birthday yesterday. Catch-ups with dear friends, love from many people near and far…traffic even seemed to be in my favor. Capped off by a delicious meal and a sighting of one of my favorite actors of all time.
I completed seminary yesterday. Not as in I graduated but as in I uploaded all of my assignments and I attended my last class. I took a walk around campus and said farewell. I’m not moving but this is a closing chapter. I’m thrilled, grateful and will miss it all very much.
The Chef’s Table episode about Jamie Oliver was the unexpected and uplifting programming I needed tonight.
Sending so much love.
Smaller notebook all the way. It saved me and my love for this practice. Nothing bigger than an A5!

And we love it.
Something about this season has irked me…and I’m grateful that @katemanne.bsky.social has put words to my unease.
Celebrating and laughing all at the same time. @nuclearbbq.bsky.social
Of course y’all are in the bean club.
I loved Jane Fonda’s speech last night at the #SAGAwards and see many people quoting it today. Jane gave credit to the inimitable Pearl Cleage so let’s do the same!
Kendrick’s American flag motif at THIS MOMENT is subversive. Yes, yes, yes.
Another great sub-genre of the journalists doing things genre.
Unfortunately, that’s how these things go. I’d say join the board??! But then I always say that ☺️.
