I think it boils down to algorithmic platforms being the core issue when it comes to being able to prompt and flood said platforms

It’s not a case of creatives vs AI tools, it’s more of a case of everyone else being able to flood DSPs, and because they’re algorithmic they’ll be rewarded.

Clever marketing I guess

This goes back to my thought that I don’t believe AI tools are the death of creativity, I think algorithmic platforms are.

It’s hard to definitively draw the distinction.
Take this scenario:

> using AI to prompt a 70s style disco chorus using your own melody, hooks and lyrics.

> Using AI again to stem split the instrumental

> Sampling & processing 2 seconds of instrumental in a track as a chop or stab.

And if you wunna blur the lines even further:

Navigating the morality of sampling a snare from an existing record v.s using AI to improve a snare, or even generating a snare for your track, then processing that snare further…

Exactly, but there’s even deeper moral nuance here:

One person may say sampling is theft, others say it’s a beautiful art.

One person may say using a melody generator isn’t true artistry, others say it helps them write.

One person may say ML mastering is destroying an entire discipline, etc.
