How the fuck do we live on a planet where Peter Dutton can call Donald Trump a “big thinker” and not ONE mainstream media outlet has pushed back to him (or their audiences) about Trump’s stupidity, dangerous criminality and blatant unfitness for the office he holds?

Make your resistance efforts accessible. Wear a mask. Clean the air for indoor events. Encourage people to stay home if they’re sick.
Disabled people want to be involved and can bring a ton to the table if you include us.
We live in constant fight or flight. We are uniquely built for resistance.
Such an advance!

Pluslife. Loads of us in the Australian covid aware community have them.
Imagine we all advocate for clean indoor air.
Im so very sorry.
Horrifying 😥
If we’re wrong about Covid - the worst that’s happened is we’ve worn a mask and cleaned the air.
If others are wrong - they’ve potentially saddled themselves with lifelong chronic health issues. Infected & harmed someone else.
They NEED to be right. We WANT to be wrong.
Time to share this again
Emotional support pastries. Love it 😁
👋
Thanks to @sickandtiredaus.bsky.social for the great idea to create a CAC Aus Covid Conscious Community starter pack
We haven’t found everyone yet, but it’s a good start & we’ll keep adding 😊

"If you’re a health-care worker who sees a patient in a mask, put one on for them. Don’t make them ask. Don’t psychologize them. Don’t betray the trust they’ve shown you. They’ve put their lives in your hands. Don’t take that for granted, it’s not an easy thing for many of us to do"
Until our hospitals, governments and public health agree to do the right thing and implement mandatory respirators and clean air - the onus is on the patient to keep themselves safe from Hospital Acquired Covid.
It’s wrong - a patient should never have to choose between care & covid.

Wondering why so many people have mycoplasma (aka walking pneumonia) lately? Here’s a clue.
Just published: after propensity matching, those w/ prior #COVID19 infection were about 3x more likely to get mycoplasma than those without #COVID: www.thelancet.com/journals/lan...

Thank you!
If anyone wants to say mycoplasma pneumonia outbreaks are due to immunity debt, they better have the surveillance swabs to prove it.
Because mycoplasma is carried without symptoms by about 21% of kids.
It makes them sick when something else weakens them.
Like… a virus. 🤨
“Manage your own risk” is like if we kept poop in municipal drinking water and told people to boil it if they feel unsafe. It’s exactly the same thing.
Indoor air and infection is a solvable problem. It needs resources and leadership. Instead we get politics and obfuscation
You do hand hygiene. You do water hygiene. You do poo hygiene. You do blood hygiene. You do saliva hygiene. Please, please, please, please, please, can you do air hygiene? Please?
me too.
Twitter is like a stadium show where half the people are rioting, the sound is spotty, they broke the fire code, someone sat in your assigned seats and punched you when you asked them to get up. And after all that, the band sucks.
When you leave, you check to see that you still have your wallet.
Yeah I need something user friendly! At the end of the day I just need to be where our crowd is.
Thank you!
OOh. I like bluesky. Looking forward to finding all the people I follow in that 'other' place.
