Sometimes kids do want to play like maniacs and I think that's ok if they are having fun. It's all make believe anyways.

I run it the same. I rarely put a group in a situation where violence is unavoidable. Kids generally play less violently in my experience. But they have agency to do whatever they want as long as they arent antagonizing each other. I just avoid graphic/gorey content if it's in the adventure.

I'm really happy with how this is turning out. I started with the idea of trying to mimic a risograph look. I'm controlling the animation in realtime with my midi controller. Calling it the Risorb
