I’m more thinking it’s a “lie” on the part of the law firm. When we keep saying oh, the AI hallucinated, it puts the responsibility on the machine rather than the people who submitted it
Can we just call them lies?
Amidst all the GOP whining tonight, a reminder that the Democrats would currently control the House were it not for the late, illegal GOP gerrymandering in GA & NC in 2024.

If you’re a Hachette author you should be talking to your editors and teams about this. If they’re using AI to counter AI, it’s still AI. And it may also be giving your work to the machine, serving it up on a contractual platter.
On March 19th Hachette Book Group made headlines for terminating a book contract with author Mia Ballard over her alleged use of AI in her novel Shy Girl; meanwhile, Hachette has negotiated with the AI editing software company Alighieria to integrate full-scope AI editorial correction tools into their production process.
