Now the DOJ is being used to prosecute a storied civil rights organization whose central mission has been to expose & dismantle the Klan.

One day soon, Trump is going to post the N-word or tell Black people to go back to Africa and the NYT headline will say something about "controversial, racially charged language" while prominent Republicans will try to laugh it off as just him trolling.

In fact, if I’m right about this, the only way to solve the problem is to defeat them utterly, break up their power structures, put their leaders on trial for war crimes, and spend the next several decades regarding them as a symbol of evil and hate, practicing zero-tolerance for maga.

Anyway, what I’m leading up to here, is a theory that Germans who lost WWI, Confederates who lost the American Civil War, and Magas who lost Jim Crow, were all acting from a sense that they had been *humiliated* and wanted to take *revenge* on those who had humiliated them, if only symbolically.
